Each letter corresponds to a digit between 0-9 where each digit can only be used once.

Determine which digits the letters correspond to to satisfy the equation

S = 8
E = 9
T = 5
And B can be any digit you want that isn't listed above

Hi!

The equation could also be written as

if that is of any help. MARS, BARS and BEST are four digit numbers like 1000 or 2345 whereas ARE is a three digit number.

If we substitute the letters for the numbers that Slinger17 a listed nd say that B = 1 (B can be either 1, 4, 5 or 7) we will get

If we add the numbers on the left side we will get
