--- I am not sure ho to work this. I tried changing it to :but I am still not sure how to handle this to get all the solutions.Can anyone show me how this should be done. Thanks in advance.

Hey,

What you first do is multiply both sides of the equation by x^4 so that you get a polynomial--which you are probably fairly familiar with. What you get is a polynomial of the form ax^4+bx^2+c=0. Notice that this is quadratic in x2! Apply the usual quadratic formula for x2. Then take the square root. The problem asks you to find all the roots, so make sure you include both the positive and the negative roots of your expression (from the quadratic formula) for x2!
