thre volume V of a sphere with radius r is given by V=4/3 is alittle sypblem r3 power . Find a simplified expression for the volume of a sphere with radius 2b. how would one do this

Hi Ingrid!

I'm not sure what volume you have given th first sphere, but the volume of any sphere with the radius r is

\\v=\frac{4\pi r^{3}}{3}

If we instead have  a radius of 2b we will replace r with 2b in the formula thus giving us

V=\frac{4\pi \cdot (2b)^{3}}{3}=\frac{4\pi \cdot8b^{3}}{3}=\frac{32\pi r^{3}}{3}

Is that the answer you are looking for? If not please rewrite the volume of the first sphere and I will try to re-help you :)
