Thinking machines

In this chapter we will learn about how computers work, how they think, and how we teach them to do new things. This is what is called programming.

Computers are everywhere. It's not just about the laptops, tablets or the mobile phone in your hand.

A dishwasher has a computer that has been programmed. In it there are variables for water temperature, desired program and how much time has passed.

Airplanes have tons of sensors that read air pressure, speed, tire pressure, and how the pilot pulls the levers. All information ends up with computers, which, according to how they are programmed, adjust wings, turn on warning lights or lower oxygen masks.
